Hear about Hampstead's heavy rainstorm
Here's a little-known slice of London history for you: 50 years ago, Hampstead Heath experienced a highly localised deluge in the form of a torrentially heavy rainstorm. On Monday, Lester Hillman, who witnessed the storm in August 1975, gives a talk about the experience at Guildhall Library. Watch in person, or online.

Scarf down some free pasta
There's a free bowl of pasta with your name on it at new Soho restaurant, 27 Old Compton Street. Nima Safaei's latest foodie venture is giving away 100 pasta dishes on Monday (pumpkin, ricotta & sage ravioli), another 100 on Tuesday (rigatoni amatriciana with pancetta & chillies), and a final 100 on Wednesday (conchiglie with octopus ragu). The freebies are being served up at the venue from 12pm-1pm on a first come, first served basis. Buona fortuna!

Hunt out 100 large Easter eggs
From Monday, 100 egg sculptures decorated by the likes of Mr Doodle, Jimmy Choo, Anya Hindmarch and Fortnum & Mason will be scattered around central London for the Big Egg Hunt, in the run-up to Easter. They're located at venues including Battersea Power Station, Covent Garden, Royal Albert Hall, Marylebone, Marble Arch, City of London, Buckingham Palace, Belgravia and Canary Wharf ... so it's probably for the best that we've got a few weeks to hunt them all out.
Free, 24 March-27 April.
Ask whether we can trust AI
Head to the British Academy on Tuesday evening to hear from a panel of experts about AI. They'll also answer questions from the audience.
